Official contract awarding ceremony under the Second Call - Sofia, 12 July 2019

The official ceremony for awarding of the first set of subsidy contracts under the Second Call for project proposals of Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme between Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of North Macedonia was held on 12 July 2019 at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in Sofia, Bulgaria. The contracts were awarded by Ms. Petya Avramova, Minister of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Goran Milevski, Minister of Local Self-Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and Ms. Denitsa Nikolova, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria.

In total 14 subsidy contracts were awarded at the ceremony, and in the next few weeks 3 more contracts will be awarded. The total budget of all 17 contracts under Second Call for project proposals is 5 110 606.73 Euro.

More then 50 people, including representatives of a variety of organizations such as municipalities, public companies, cultural and educational institutions, NGOs, etc. from both countries, attended the ceremony.
