Establishment of a dialogue of care: our shared responsibility towards the future

The project focuses on developing a study of the most vulnerable areas with fire predisposition in the districts of Dupnitsa and Karbintsi and mapping them in a cartographic document that will help local and regional agents/organizations/institutions. The project focuses on building appropriate response measures by developing a supported joint mechanism for disaster management and risk prevention, promoting climate change awareness, participants in training and risk prevention campaigns (including vulnerable groups). The project is addressed to study the readiness of local citizens for natural and man-made disasters, a joint seminar for exchange of good practices between volunteer teams from Dupnitsa and Karbintsi, basic fire safety courses and training for children and vulnerable groups in Dupnitsa and Karbintsi, increased awareness of the dangers of fire in different environments - at home, at school or at work, encouraged sustainable behavior in case of emergency, including the selection and use of fire extinguishers or other appropriate means.
