Social Enterprise Ecosystem Development

The project will stimulate social entrepreneurship capacity building of youths and NGOs and encourage development of ecosystem & innovative solutions to the region societal challenges. It combines demand-driven real experience acquiring (SE e-training, mentoring & guidance, marketplace, EU study visit) in a supportive environment (SE hubs). Two Social Entrepreneurship Hubs (1 MK and 1 BG) will be established and equipped to provide access to knowledge & skills for 80 participants, contents of e-learning in 5 training modules in BG and MK will be developed.
Project results envisage trainings for the representatives of stakeholders, set up of Cross-border Steering Committee on SE, digital competence for disadvantaged groups, training in social entrepreneurship and social innovation, development of social business idea, social leadership and marketing, and business planning. 16 business plans of social businesses was developed and presented to potential investors and stakeholders, community and media; 6 European good practices in SE was promoted in the CB region; SE marketplace was organized with 32 direct beneficiaries with practical skills to present business ideas and plan in the marketplace; CB SE Conference with 50 stakeholders was held, and feedback was provided by the Steering Committee about the networking and ecosystem; Memorandum of Understanding for SE cooperation and networking was signed and a study visit to social enterprise was organized.
